Nice to meet you!

Creativity is my passion. I know it is cliché, but when I’m doing something creative, I feel like I'm doing what I was meant to do.

I have been longing for a place to call my 'design home' forever - welcome to CAHOOTS Creative Happenings.

With two decades of experience in Marketing Communications and Events, I've had the invaluable opportunity to develop my design, project management, business acumen and client communication experience. As a Senior Exhibit Design Consultant, I aided clients with their Trade Show Marketing Programs. I have also had the unique experience of starting a boutique children’s clothing line that gained recognition from the Golden Globe awards, which ultimately lead to the celebrity gifting suite. In my last endeavor, I worked for an award-winning event design firm. Through all of these experiences, the connection made with enthusiastic clients is what really fueled me.

I crave all things design, and having been granted the opportunity to develop creative ideas and concepts for clients who inspire me, is hands down, the best job in the world!

On a personal note...

When I am not dreaming up a concept or working on a DIY project, you can find me kickin’ it with my 7 year old son, taking in a hot yoga class, hiking or paddle boarding. I am also a HUGE animal lover, and would take in a giraffe if my hubby would let me! Cahoots is going to be getting a mascot soon - a rescue dog named ... stay tuned!

NATALIE LITYNSKY  l  Event Design + Producer

Well, I have always been a passionate person with a big heart. I am enthusiastic about everything happening in my life all the time, and I feel that's the way it should be. We are meant to love our lives! I thrive on being creative, and have had an entrepreneurial spirit since I started my own "Bracelet Boutique" when I was ten years old.

I've always been considered a "Do-er". My first passion in life was sports. The combination of being technical with an artistic flare is essential in gymnastics and dance, which is where I spent countless hours practicing in my teens. As I grew up, I was lucky enough to transfer my passion and energy into a similar field, the hair industry. Finally I had found a career in which I could build shape through a technical cut, splash hues of colour all over someone's head, and put a big ass smile on my client's face all at the same time. My time spent as a hairdresser taught me that I truly live to bring joy and happiness into others lives.

I'm so grateful that I got to spend four years at one of the top salons in Vancouver. They were heavily involved in hair events around the city, and also competed in international hair competitions. Through this time some of my favorite moments spent with the salon were backstage creating five foot long avante-garde hair pieces, choreographing obscurely beautiful routines for our hair models, and on set for photoshoots creating some images I will certainly never forget. I learned many things about myself in this time. One of them being that I find immeasurable pleasure in creating something from nothing, and that being creative isn't just something I like to do, it is a part of me.

What do I like to do in my spare time? I like to work on making my life the happiest place on earth. And "happiness is only real when shared". I spend my spare time surrounded by the people I love and working my ass off because well, I like to work.   I love adventuring outdoors, being active, singing and dancing at a concert, doing a DIY project at home, or laughing with my friends, family, and loved ones.

Now is the time that I transfer all the things in my life into Creative Happenings. I want to be passionate. I want to smack a lasting smile on people's faces. I want to take a bare bones venue or outdoor area, and create a magical scene of elegance, class, light, colour, and love for you to experience. So here I am! Join me in Cahoots and let's have some fun!
